Anniversary

Yesterday marked our 8 year anniversary. It's hard to believe it has been 8 years ago since we got married. Seems like only yesterday I walked down the isle to the wonderful man that is now the wonderful daddy to our precious baby boy! We have had a blast these past 8 years! We had a lot of time to enjoy ourselves and come and go as we pleased. Finally decided last year to start our Family and now we are enjoying being parents and enjoying learning new things together! Travis, I just want you to know how wonderful you are to me, and how happy I am of the life that we have made together! I can not wait to grow old with you and watch our life unfold to all that our future holds! Happy Anniversary baby! I love you!

PS. And what more exciting than to be able to celebrate, on this special day, as the first steps of Tristan!! My grandmaw was watching him while my mom went to the dr. and she called me screaming, I thought something was wrong. She told me he had took 5 steps several times! Just in time for the beach, as we are leaving this Saturday for a much needed vacation and Tristan's first vacation and I CAN NOT WAIT!! It has been several years since we have went anywhere so it is time!

More B-Day Presents!

I am behind!!!!!! Last Wednesday on Tristan's official birthday his mamaw Towery and Kelsie came up to give him their gift for him. Another car that he can ride and push and it makes all kind of noises! He loved it too! Also Betsy sent his present home with me from work and he got to open it as well. It was a blow up train that you put balls in for him to play in! This was a big hit at his party for Kayden and him, even though they were trying to throw the balls out!

Car

I thought I had already posted this but must have just been thinking it! Last Tuesday for Tristan's birthday my mama cooked supper for us and we had a mini celebration at their house because my daddy drives a truck and he wasn't going to be home to see Tristan for his birthday. We had yummy Chicken and dumplins and brocolli cassserole. After we ate and was entertained by Tristan for a while, she gave him his birthday present from them. He loves riding ANYTHING! So she thought he would enjoy a car. It is battery operated so he can ride it himself, it has a bar that comes out of the back for the parents to steer with until the child gets the hang of it. Well we thought that it had a button on the bar to be pushed to make it go as well but it doesn't. So we are trying to teach him to press the GO button! He absolutely loves it!!!

ALready Chillin!
After watching Tristan ride his car, Madilyn decides to get her bicycle out while we are all sitting on the front porch. She still rides her little bike that had the training wheels on it, just to be funny! So she breaks it out and we are laughing at her because it looks like a clowns bicycle because it's so little. Well Chris decided to get on it and we just knew the tires were going to blow out. We laughed so hard!!

Unfortunaltey I didn't get the camera out quick enough to get more pics of Chris, but we made Travis ride it too!

Help!!

Can somebody please tell me how to change the font on my page????? Thanks!

Birthday Weekend!

This past weekend was very hectic and busy for the lil man's party! Friday we did the yard work so it was fresh and neat! Then we went to mamaw's to get the tables and chairs for Saturday. When we came home we were greeted with helpers!! Stacy and Madilyn were there and Haley and her crew were there ready to help! So Tristan went with Aunt Stacy while we unloaded the stuff and decided the game plan for Saturday and where everything was going to go. When lil man went to sleep it was a much needed beverage time for me!! HA Saturday was up bright and early to get started. Mom, Tristan, and I went to Walmart and Bi-Lo to get all the last minute things and off to Wanda Reep's, who made the cake. It turned out really cute, and she made a small cake that was eggless for him. All day it looked like it was going to pour down rain at any moment! Well of course it waited until about 2 hours before time for the party to start for it to start raining! Just enough time for everything to get soaked, couldn't put up the jumpy thing mama had rented because it couldn't get wet, I couldnt decorate because of the rain! What a nightmare! I was soo upset. Finally it stopped come party time but was still very nasty out. The grass was wet, nobody wanted to get in the grass to sit at the tables because of this, so everyone ended up piling in our very small 1 car carport! Didn't bother the kids though, who spent all their time in the jumpy thing. Needless to say despite all of the weather issues we had fun and everything turned out great. Tristan was such a good boy and enjoyed every minute of it and was quite the silly little entertainer for everyone! After all the excitement, fun, and fellowship with good friends and family, he was tuckered out, but I think his mama was even more tuckered out!!!!!!
